I came from corporate, not consulting: a Fortune 500 energy company, where 'make AI adoption happen' was my job, not my pitch. Today I design and deliver every programme on this site myself, for leaders and teams across energy, finance and education.
So how did a non-technical storyteller end up in AI? Fair question. It started in December 2022, when I tried ChatGPT on a marketing problem I was stuck on. I still remember the goosebumps of that first prompt. And the next one. And the ten after that. Whatever this was, I knew it would be my assistant for life.
I dove in: three to four hours a day on my own time, building pilots, testing methods on my daily work. In 2023 I was one of 350 people at Vattenfall, out of 22,000, chosen to evaluate an early version of Microsoft Copilot, and the better my results got, the stronger the pull to teach other non-technical professionals the advantage I'd found. It made me GenAI Lead at Vattenfall Heat, designing and delivering the AI transformation for an entire business unit.
That's where I saw the pattern my work is built on: organisations roll out licences, but the daily habit does not follow. So I built the programmes I couldn't find: AI training for non-technical professionals, with measurable results and business-specific use cases. The BRIDGE Method™ and the 5xS Framework™ were born there. Microsoft appointed me MVP in M365 Copilot.
In spring 2025 I handed in my laptop and founded the home of the AI Champions Academy™. The mission has never changed: measurable change for teams and businesses, making the complex clear, and making AI inclusive.
Every session runs on the participants' own work: a report drafted, an inbox cleared, a workflow rebuilt live, with examples from their sector carrying every point. High tempo, no theory slides, everyone hands-on.
The room changes, the energy doesn't. One month it's twelve leaders around a table, the next a cohort of fifty on Teams, or a keynote stage like the Microsoft AI Tour. I deliver every session myself, and I intend to keep it that way: this is my favourite place in the world to work.
